Some places know how to be kind and welcoming.
Cervia is one of them: calm sea, the scent of pine forests, a wide seafront promenade that leads from the picturesque canal port to the golden beaches of Milano Marittima.
But just look up and you will discover that the beauty does not stop at the beach: with its nature, culture and themed parks, Cervia is the ideal starting point for a complete holiday, combining relaxation and new discoveries.

The beaches of Cervia are synonymous with hospitality and care. Along the coastline — which also includes Milano Marittima, Pinarella and Tagliata — there are modern beach resorts, shady pine forests and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families, sports enthusiasts and those who love to take their time in style.
Cervia is also a city of salt and wellness: in addition to the sea, you can enjoy natural treatments in the local spa, stroll among the colourful houses of Borgo Marina and the historic buildings linked to the storage of the local sweet salt, and enjoy an aperitif or a dinner with a view along the canal harbour.
Everything here is designed to slow down the pace and leave room for pleasure.

For nature lovers, Cervia offers unique experiences just a few minutes from the sea:
→ Cervia Salt Pan: the southern station of the Po Delta Park, is a protected area home to flamingos, herons and black-winged stilts.
Here, thanks to the work of the salt workers of the Antica Salina Camillone, you can still observe the traditional method of extracting salt by hand.
The salt pans can be explored on foot, by electric boat, canoe, bicycle and mini train, thanks to the numerous organised tours.
It is a poetic place where water and sky mirror each other endlessly and is even more stunning at sunset.
→ Butterfly House: a paradise of biodiversity and a journey through colours and lightness. Hundreds of butterflies fly freely in the large tropical greenhouse, and on Sunday mornings you can witness the spectacle of the first flight of the butterflies born during the early hours of the day. A magical experience for children and adults alike.
→ Dedalo Labyrinth: the largest temporary maze on the Riviera. A cornfield transformed into an adventure trail, combining nature and fun, perfect for spending an afternoon or evening in an unusual way.
Culture: a dive into the art of Ravenna

For culture lovers, we highly recommend a trip from Cervia to explore Ravenna, a city that has been capital for three times throughout history and is home to authentic artistic and historical treasures.
Ravenna is a city that really needs no introduction. Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its early Christian and Byzantine monuments, it is a city of a manageable size where strolling through the city centre offers glimpses of both history and contemporary life.
In addition to its sparkling mosaics, don’t miss the Zone of Silence, with the Dante Alighieri’s Tomb (where a canto from the Divine Comedy is read every afternoon), the spectacular Basilica di San Francesco with goldfish swimming on the mosaic floors and, not far away, the Museo Byron, dedicated to the famous Lord Byron who lived here as a guest of his lover Teresa Gamba.
Amusement parks: thrills and adrenaline
Two of the most popular themed parks in Romagna are located in the surrounding area of Cervia:
→ Safari Ravenna: a wildlife park surrounded by greenery, which can be visited by car, mini train or electric car. Here you can see lions, giraffes, zebras, lemurs and many other species up close, in an environment that promotes respect for animals and biodiversity.
→ Mirabilandia: a kingdom of fun for the whole family. Record-breaking roller coasters, live shows, themed areas for children, water games and much more. An unforgettable experience just a few minutes from Cervia.
Cervia is a holiday destination that combines lightness and depth: sunshine on your face and shade under the pine trees, butterflies in flight and ancient mosaics, beach sports and the tranquillity of the salt pans. A destination that welcomes and surprises, offering the perfect balance between pleasure and wonder.
