“Casentino Senza Tempo” (Timeless Casentino) is part of a series of video by ItaliaSenzaTempo that show a hidden side of Italy.
Italy is a fascinating country, known for its history and its people, its food and culture. But Italy is also a beautiful peninsula, with its typical Mediterranean nature and climate.
“Timeless Italy” (ItaliaSenzaTempo) is made up of places considered World Heritage gems and protected accordingly. They are places where time seems to stand still and where there is no trace of human passage. Places where the rhythm of nature is marked by the rising and setting of the sun and by the stars traveling in the sky.
In this video we are going to explore the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, on the Apennine ridge between Romagna and Tuscany. Casentino is a land of monasteries, Dantesque paths and enchanted forests. It is very close to Bologna and Florence, and it offers beautiful landscapes immersed in lush, unpolluted nature.
