Every project for us is the encounter between two different souls, that of the place and that of man

The arrival of autumn marks the beginning of a new adventure for Dallara Automobili, the inauguration of the Dallara Academy, a project desired by the founder and president of the company, Giampaolo Dallara.
A building which aims to share and transmit a history and a life developed around the passion for racing cars and to thank, through the exposure of the most important cars of the brand, all the partners who have contributed to the company’s reputation and growth.

Dallara Academy – Ph. Dallara

But the Dallara Academy is a building that hosts several souls, who come to life in the different functions reserved for the building: the link with the surrounding territory, the of young people education, the transmission of passion.
On the two floors where the new Dallara building is developed, it welcomes educational workshops, areas reserved for university students and an auditorium connected by a large curved glazed ramp which can be visited and houses a huge exhibition area with all the most famous Dallara models.

Workshops

If Dallara has always paid particular attention to the surrounding area, the Dallara Academy pays particular attention to the training of young people: an entire area of the building is dedicated to Didactic Workshops designed for students of secondary schools and high schools, where children can experience first hand the laws of physics applied to the design and development of cars.
The Didactic Laboratories have been designed according to the philosophy of “edutainment” that is to learn while having fun, taking the students beyond the study of physics linked only to school experience, to involve them directly in activities inspired by the three main skills that distinguish the company: design and production with particular attention to the use of composite materials, aerodynamics and vehicle dynamics.

Exhibition Area and Museum

This is the area of connection between the two floors of the Dallara Academy, always open to visitors, individuals or groups, with the possibility to book guided tours. The exhibition ramp houses a museum with cars and creations that have marked the history of the Dallara Engineer first, and of the Dallara then: from the Miura to the X19, from the Sport cars born in collaboration with Lancia to the Indycar racing in the United States , from Le Mans prototypes to Formula 3 and Formula E, to get to the last born “La Stradale“. Visitors and curious can immerse themselves in a walk in the history of the brand’s cars, without ever losing contact with the surrounding environment, thanks to the large window that follows the trajectory of the entire ramp.

University Area – MUNER

An entire area dedicated to university level studies which represent the company’s commitment to training young people. The first floor of the Academy will host the second year students of the Master’s degree course in “Racing Car Design” of the MUNER, a partnership strongly desired by the Emilia-Romagna Region between the regional universities and the historic motor brands of the Motor Valley, a true Italian excellence in the world of Motorsport.

Auditorium

The Academy is completed by an area designed to host conferences, meetings, presentations, and team building activities. The Auditorium of the Dallara Academy is a space designed to be modular, with a capacity of up to 350 people, characterized by the marked presence of technological elements and set up with a video wall of 7mx2m.
