{"id":43150,"date":"2017-10-31T08:43:00","date_gmt":"2017-10-31T07:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travelemiliaromagna.it\/motorvalley-presents-guzzi-brunelli-collection-forlimpopoli\/"},"modified":"2021-08-31T11:30:58","modified_gmt":"2021-08-31T10:30:58","slug":"motorvalley-presents-guzzi-brunelli-collection-forlimpopoli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.travelemiliaromagna.it\/en\/motorvalley-presents-guzzi-brunelli-collection-forlimpopoli\/","title":{"rendered":"[MotorValley Presents] The Guzzi Brunelli collection in Forlimpopoli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A story of <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>friendship<\/strong><\/span> and <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">passion<\/span>.<\/strong>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nI can&#8217;t start this blogpost differently, thanks to these simple words the small <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comune.forlimpopoli.fc.it\/servizi\/notizie\/notizie_homepage.aspx\">Forlimpopoli<\/a> Museum of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Moto_Guzzi\">Moto Guzzi<\/a> was born, a unique collection dedicated to a historic brand of the Italian motoring history.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n<iframe title=\"Collezione Guzzi Brunelli a Forlimpopoli\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_X5uMh4qB4A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">History<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nWe are in Forlimpopoli, a few km from the adjacent Forl\u00ec, when Elio Brunelli in 1989 received a Moto Guzzi Falcone Tourism tour from 1953, and is love at first sight: in a short time, with is famous mechanic friend, \u00a0Vero Tumidei, begins a restoration adventure and collection of antique motorcycles.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nA perfectly restored Moto Guzzi collection, following every detail, with minimality and love with the carriages of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motoguzzi.com\/motoguzzi\/IT\/it\/home.countries\">Mandello del Lario<\/a>&#8216;s home.&#13;<br \/>\nThanks also to the help of Professor Augusto Farneti, famous in the antiquarian motorcycle environment for his passion for the Guzzi brand, Elio begins to personally renovate his carriages. Thus, an incredible relationship of friendship between the two is consolidated, lasting over 25 years until the master&#8217;s disappearance in May 2014.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nWith the passage of time the need arises to show these jewels to the world and thus begins the exhibition on Viale Roma 32 where thanks to the help of a couple of friends and their personal collections of Ducati and Lambretta, a museum dedicated to Motor Valley of Forlimpopoli, dedicated today to the late professor Farneti.&#13;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The collection<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelemiliaromagna.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/lato-dx_34-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nAlthough it is not possible to admire all the models created by Moto Guzzi, the desire was to describe the motorist experience of the Italian people from the late 30&#8217;s to the late 70&#8217;s:&#13;<br \/>\nItalians that find in the two wheels a perfect way to travel &#8220;the boot&#8221;, relaxing by the sea or looking for refreshment on the hills.&#13;<br \/>\nMoto Guzzi also boasts a number of models linked to the history of the motorway of Italian law enforcement and the Italian army, kept here with great care and passion.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nWith<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.collezioneguzzibrunelli.it\/p\/moto-guzzi\"> 50 different models<\/a><\/strong> of the Italian brand, the collection also boasts two equally interesting subdivisions dedicated to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collezioneguzzibrunelli.it\/p\/ducati\">Ducati<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.collezioneguzzibrunelli.it\/p\/innocenti-lambretta\">Lambretta<\/a><\/strong>, guaranteed by two great friends of the owner Fausto Mazzocchi and Lotti Walter.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nThe bikes are all registered, approved ASIs and can therefore circulate on the road, although this is not allowed.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10867\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelemiliaromagna.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vero-300x218.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"218\" \/>&#13;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Our Advices<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10868\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10868\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelemiliaromagna.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Rocca_di_Forlimpopoli_vista_dinsieme-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"155\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">ph. perkele<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nA trip to Forlimpopoli for the Guzzi museum can be an opportunity to discover three different locations of the town:&#13;<br \/>\nif you are a fan of the art cities, medieval art, and want to rethink the history of the hamlet, a free visit to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.turismoforlivese.it\/servizi\/menu\/dinamica.aspx?ID=4491\">Ordelaff Fortress<\/a><\/strong> is a must!
