I love the winter sea. I love its colors, the crushing of the waves and that sense of peace that I feel whenever I\u2019m in front of it.<\/p>\n

There is a deep conversation going on at that moment. I talk, he<\/i>\u00a0listens.\u00a0He<\/i> talks, I listen.<\/p>\n

As a background, the whole beach: expanses of silent sand emptied of tourists, umbrellas and sunbeds, with just a few blurry shadows of men and women on the horizon talking, just like me, to the wind and to themselves.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an overwhelming love ours, a love that strengthens ever more in winter.<\/p>\n

Every weekend, we find ourselves and confide in one another again. It\u2019s a one-sided relationship, of course, I would be mad to think differently, but the sea always gives me that balance that everyday life tends to take me away sometimes.<\/p>\n

Many people chose the beaches of Emilia-Romagna<\/span><\/strong> during winter to search for this kind of awareness. There are so many ways to try confrontation, find a sort of approach.<\/p>\n

If you love silence and long walks,<\/span><\/strong> the right places where to get lost in your thoughts are absolutely the beaches of Comacchio<\/a>, one above all is Lido di Volano: rugged and wild, they offer fantastic landscapes in which to lose your gaze.<\/p>\n

For the more sensitive and melancholic<\/span><\/strong>, the area between Casalborsetti<\/a> and Marina Romea<\/a> is an excellent refuge in which to hide. Someone searches for tellins, someone looks at the horizon, someone else rides a horse or runs with their dog.<\/p>\n

For the runners<\/span><\/strong>, the winter sea might be the perfect departure or arrival point. The coastal pine forests in Ravenna<\/a> offers a perfect scenario: kilometers of landscapes surrounded by oaks, ashes, maritime pines, and many other trees.<\/p>\n

In Marina di Ravenna<\/a> there is also the small dam (3 km) that relaxes and invigorates you, it leads you in the middle of the sea until reaching a lighthouse.<\/p>\n

Despite the\u00a0charming, wild soul of these beaches, during winter maritime cities such as\u00a0Cervia<\/a>\/Milano Marittima<\/a>\u00a0or Cesenatico<\/a> have to pay the price for the dependency on their beloved sea.<\/p>\n

Right for this reason, if you are searching for a stay that can offer you the solitude of a walk on the beach with an afternoon spent shopping and relaxing spa treatment<\/span><\/strong>, these places may be the right ones.<\/p>\n

On the one side, you will see harbors crowded with fishers busy untying the nets, the boats, and the fisher markets; on the other, big hotels and beach resorts, some of which open for lunch, especially in the weekends.<\/p>\n

Moreover, beyond the usual and prestigious shopping, their historical centers offer a rich programm of events for all, even in the coldest months.<\/p>\n

Heading south, even in\u00a0Rimini<\/a>, <\/strong>Riccione<\/a>,\u00a0and\u00a0Cattolica<\/a> you can find this sort of chemistry. You cannot avoid it! The sea here is something that cannot be hidden.<\/p>\n

Undressed all its summer clothes, it shows as it is\u2014without artifices or superfluities. It shapes behavior and characters.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a place in which you seek refuge during your lunch break, going in one of the open bars, restaurants or beach resorts; it\u2019s flat to all surfers and kiters; it\u2019s a stroll you cannot turn down during the mild winter afternoons; most of all, it\u2019s a friend to whom confide your deepest secrets.<\/p>\n
