Romagna is known as a part of Italy where you are never bored, especially in Summer. But how many know it is also an enjoyable destination in the middle of Winter? Yes, because among events, excursions, walks, etc, also in February the Adriatic Coast of Emilia Romagna is a place for holidays, especially due of two of its excellence: the amazing natural spaces and one of the most renowned gastronomy of Italy.

The list we present today, is, therefore, a collection of events dedicated to Nature and the great local gastronomy. Food for your eyes and hot fuel for your body, which will hug you in the cold days of mid-February.

The Po river mouth has always been one of the most important naturalistic areas in Europe where natural oases and human activities coexist. A true paradise for nature lovers, rich in birds and mammals, including the majestic deer of Mesola. Until 25 February every Sunday, the Excursions by Boat in the Oasis of the Po Delta Park will take you on exclusive routes aboard small boats through the thick reeds that distinguish this area. A series of unmissable itineraries for those wishing to admire glimpses of uncontaminated nature in other unattainable ways.

Winter in the National Park of the Casentinesi Forest

Premilcuore -National Park of Casentino Forest, Ph. francesco_1978

It is very exciting to spend a few hours hiking on the paths of the Foreste Casentinesi Park: the tracks of wild animals mix with those of snowshoes while the sunset lights up the peak of Monte Falco and of Falterona. Winter here… is unforgettable.
During the daytime snowshoe outings, you can enjoy breathtaking views from the peaks of our Tuscan-Romagna Apennines or you can look at the tracks of hares or wolves that crossover each other under the beech trees.
The magic of snowshoeing at night is, in addition, a unique experience you should try once in life! In the white firs of Campigna we will experience unforgettable moments wrapped in the cozy silence of the mountains.

Wine and Food
